Aloe vera, also known as Aloe barbadensis Miller, is a succulent plant belonging to the Asphodelaceae family. It is widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions around the world due to its remarkable adaptability to arid climatic conditions. For thousands of years, Aloe vera has been used in various traditional medical systems to support the treatment of skin injuries, soothe burns, promote wound healing, and maintain skin health.
