INTRODUCTION

Morinda citrifolia, commonly known as noni, is a tropical plant belonging to the Rubiaceae family. It is widely distributed throughout Southeast Asia, Polynesia, and the Pacific Islands. The plant thrives in hot and humid climates and produces fruit throughout the year.

Noni fruit is oval in shape and changes from green to ivory white or pale yellow as it ripens. It is also characterized by a strong, distinctive odor.
